RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform accurate planning of spare parts and supplies through SAP material requirement planning (MRP)
  • Ensure availability of spare parts, supplies and services based on material requirement planning (MRP), work orders, plant operations and projects.
  • Creating and releasing of purchase requests through SAP and Ariba
  • Manage inventory cost and stock level
  • Forecast, analyze and update MRP based on reports, trend, cost, consumption, lead time (PO and delivery) and other cases.
  • Provide support regarding required spare parts, supplies and services during general (breakdown/corrective) maintenance, preventive maintenance and plant shutdown
  • Works with Engineering heads, supervisors and planners to create and request required spare parts, supplies and services.
  • Works with Engineering heads, supervisors and planners to manage purchase requests and repair & maintenance costs
  • Provide support to Engineering heads, supervisors and planners regarding CAPEX and projects as needed.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and contractors regarding required spare parts, supplies and servicesOrganize pre-bids with suppliers and contractors as needed
  • Source information with suppliers and contractors regarding industry standards & specifications, new technologies & innovation, alternative parts, cost effective parts, OEM parts and trainings & seminars
  • Evaluates suppliers and contractors performance
  • Assigned as custodian to SAP plant maintenance module.
  • Assigned to handle SAP, Ariba, NIR and MORPH concerns and issues
  • Coordinate with store supervisor (SMILSI) to monitor general store inventory cost, stock level, purchase request, purchase orders, reports and other records
  • Coordinate with production supervisors to provide support to their required supplies and consumables.
  • Coordinate with buyers to follow up purchase requests and purchase orders. -Coordinate with finance regarding settlements as needed -Other assigned tasks
