Reporting to: Utilities & Energy Manager

Duty Post: Malvar, Batangas

Working Setup: Hybrid (3x onsite, 2x WFH)

Contract Duration: 1 year

The Energy Analyst supports the analysis and monitoring of energy and water consumption, as well as carbon dioxide emissions in the factory. This role ensures compliance with government regulations, supports IMS implementation, and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify variances and opportunities for improvement.

As the Energy Analyst, you will:

Operation and Management:

  • Analyze daily consumption of electricity, LPG, water, and solar energy.
  • Monitor OPEX execution and adherence to budget; prepare timely variance reports.
  • Consolidate and monitor "treasure hunt" energy-saving activities.
  • Respond to EHS queries related to consumption.
  • Ensure 5S3R practices are implemented in assigned areas.
  • Ensure all contracts (MSA, MSSA, or vendor-issued) are current.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Prepare and maintain documentation, forms, and reports in line with IMS requirements (Quality, Environment, Health & Safety, Energy Management).
  • Summarize building conditions and recommend actions related to energy, water, CO₂ KPIs, CR360, and quarterly SMR submissions.
  • Review and understand operations of equipment, BMS, fire/life safety, and other systems.

Contract & Compliance:

  • Assist in preparing compliance permit renewals and applications.
  • Support compliance management for FM and government agencies such as PEZA, LLDA, DENR, and DOE.

Coordination & Communication:

  • Support after-hours building operations and activities as required.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address incidents or concerns impacting business continuity.
  • Attend relevant training sessions and seminars.
  • Communicate with vendors to ensure required resources are available to complete tasks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Accounting, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in data analysis, reporting, and working with Building Management Systems (BMS) or similar monitoring tools
  • Strong understanding of budgets, variance analysis, and cost control principles
  • Knowledge of energy management, sustainability, and compliance requirements is a plus
  • Must be open to work on a fixed-term contract
