The QC Inspector is responsible to inspect, test, check and count all products to assure all items have no defects. The personnel ensures that products meet a set of predetermined quality standards and manages the monitoring of the warehouse & safekeeping of Other Merchandise and CMD requests as well.

Principal Accountabilities:

QUALITY CONTROL

• Ensure that all incoming cylinders are properly sorted into good, for washing, for retouching, for full body painting, for shot blast, for requalification, etc. using the cylinder quality standard and placed to designated areas for proper safekeeping.
• Provide clearance that all repainted cylinders are ready for refilling (curing time).
• Ensure that all filled cylinders and canisters meet quality standards (exact weight, good appearance, installed safety seal, no leakages, etc.) before being loaded in the trucks.
• Report any unsafe action or condition within the plant premises.
• Participate in Monthly Cylinder Inventory Count.
• Provide findings on all backloads, pull out and captured cylinders from stores and prepare summary reports such as pull out and back load reports to be submitted to Operations Supervisor.
• Report any irregularities noted in the performance of function to immediate superior.
• Accomplish the daily Stock Inventory Sheet, CISS, CIRR, RF, SIF, SMS etc. to be reconciled with the Plant Operations Assistant.
• Receiving and verification of goods from supplier
• Organizing the storage of goods per classification of item.
• Issuing supplies per request as validated by the Operations Supervisor.
• Control stock movement of warehouse inventory.
• Detect and deal with stock losses.
• Deal with unwanted materials, obsolete and scrap disposal.
• Ensure all transactions and movement of stocks are recorded with the complete balances per item.
• Monitor operating stocks based on consumption or usage. Stock level shall be reviewed from time to time depending on current needs.
• Recommend any process improvements necessary to improve operations efficiency
• Follow all work-related instructions and assignments provided by the immediate superior.
