The Role

As a Solutions Architect at Stratpoint, you will work closely with the Pre-Sales team and engineering and delivery managers and interface directly with clients to design and implement technology solutions that address specific business challenges. This position involves translating complex business requirements into practical, scalable technology solutions, and requires a professional with experience in product development and architecture.

Your Team

You'll join a dynamic team of Solutions Architects under Architecture Governance, each specializing in critical industry sectors such as fintech, insurtech, and other emerging technology-driven fields. In collaboration with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Engineers, your role will be instrumental in elevating Stratpoint's architectural expertise and aligning it with our clients' strategic business goals. As part of this team, you will leverage your industry-specific knowledge to drive Stratpoint's strategic initiatives forward, ensuring that our architectural solutions provide substantial value to our clients. Each team member's deep industry expertise not only enriches our collective capabilities but also enhances our ability to innovate and deliver tailored solutions that meet the unique challenges faced by our clients.

Your Responsibilities

• Strategic Collaboration: Work in close partnership with the FCTO and Architecture Governance team to develop IT architectures that support both broad organizational objectives and specific client requirements.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for architectural discussions during client meetings, capturing comprehensive business requirements and operational challenges.
• Product and Solution Development: Utilize extensive experience in product development to design and implement tailored solutions that meet client needs.
• Process Mapping: Lead efforts in mapping business processes to ensure solutions efficiently address client workflows and operational inefficiencies.
• Solution Design and Implementation: Convert strategic visions into detailed technical actions and oversee the implementation of robust, scalable solutions. Particularly in Cloud-based architecture and solutions.
• Project Leadership: Coordinate with project teams across various domains to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of technology solutions.
• Client Presentations and Relationship Management: Lead technical presentations and maintain ongoing relationships, adjusting strategies as business needs evolve.
• Documentation and Quality Assurance: Manage the creation of detailed documentation and uphold high standards of quality and reliability in all architectural decisions and implementations.
• Industry Insight and Best Practices: Provide expert insights on emerging technologies and advocate for the adoption of best practices in system architecture and product design.

About You

You are/have:

• Professional Experience: Proven track record in roles such as System Analyst, Solution Designer, Application Architect, or Application Manager, Cloud Architect, Cloud Engineer with experience in building and launching successful products.
• Expertise in Process Mapping: Strong skills in process mapping, capable of visually documenting processes and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in systems integration, software development, and cloud-based architectures (willingness and ability to be agnostic across providers).
• Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic tech frameworks that align with both client and business needs.
• Stakeholder management Skills: Exceptional ability to interface directly with stakeholders, manage relationships, and clearly articulate complex technical concepts.
• Communication and Leadership: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate closely with the FCTO and Architecture Governance team.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically about complex problems and come up with innovative solutions.

• Startup experience is a plus.
