This position requires availability to work night shift hours from 10 PM to 6 AM.


About the Role

We're looking for a technically strong and highly collaborative Senior WordPress Developer who also enjoys mentoring and guiding fellow developers. In this role, you'll lead complex web projects, troubleshoot client issues, and ensure high-quality website solutions are delivered on time.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in problem-solving, client communication, and team collaboration—all while working remotely during night hours.


What You'll Do
Development & Technical Leadership
  • Lead the development and maintenance of WordPress websites, themes, plugins, and custom functionalities.
  • Handle complex projects using PHP, WordPress core hooks/actions, ACF fields, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WooCommerce, and Elementor.
  • Work on Shopify, Webflow, and other CMS platforms as needed.
  • Build responsive, mobile-first, and high-performance websites.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve client website issues efficiently.
  • Ensure websites follow SEO best practices, security guidelines, and optimal caching.
  • Assist other senior developers with critical projects and complex problem-solving.

Mentorship & Team Support
  • Mentor junior developers, improving coding skills, workflows, and problem-solving.
  • Share best practices, coding standards, and technical knowledge across the team.
  • Collaborate closely with peers to maintain high-quality output across all projects.

Client Communication & Documentation
  • Communicate professionally with clients regarding website issues, updates, and recommendations.
  • Create technical documentation or guides for clients and junior developers.
  • Keep stakeholders informed on progress, blockers, and solutions.

Process & Workflow Improvement
  • Suggest improvements to development workflows, tools, and processes.
  • Participate in team meetings, alignment sessions, and post-project reviews to identify areas for growth.

Who We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of web development experience, including WordPress and other CMS platforms.
  • Strong expertise in WordPress architecture, themes, plugins, hooks/actions, and ACF fields.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, WooCommerce, and Elementor.
  • Experience with Shopify, Webflow, and other CMS platforms.
  • Knowledge of web hosting and domain management (DNS, migrations, cPanel/Plesk).
  • Proven mentoring or leadership experience with junior developers.
  • Any leadership experience counts, including team coordination, project management, or informal mentoring roles.
  • Excellent problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong focus on performance, security, and quality.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred but not required.
  • Ad agency experience is a plus.
