Responsibilities:

  1. Coding and development
    : write high-quality source code to program complete applications following best practices and client coding principles with proper source control management and documentation.
  2. Design and prototyping
    : Create prototypes based on requirement specifications and design a user interface to ensure seamless user experience.
  3. Testing and Debugging
    : Perform comprehensive unit to ensure the application aligns with the requirements with traceability on test artifacts and results. Debug and troubleshoot issues to improve performance.
  4. Deployment and maintenance
    : Adhere to client's Change Advisory Board (CAB) standards in ensuring high-quality releases with complete documentation, artifacts, and release/rollback plans available.
  5. Incident Management
    : Assist in resolving production incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and propose solutions to prevent recurrence.
  6. Stakeholder Collaboration
    : Facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure alignment and understanding of goals.
  7. Business Understanding
    : Develop a comprehensive understanding of business needs and effectively communicate these to the product owner and stakeholders.
  8. Solution Alignment
    : Ensure implemented solutions align with business objectives, meet quality standards, and adhere to security policies.
  9. Process Advocacy
    : Advocate for process changes to enhance business and IT activities and contribute to the design of the future state of new products.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or IT.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as an application developer.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working in the banking sector, preferably in the area of Trade Finance.
  • Familiarity with ITIL, Agile, and other IT service management and software development frameworks.
  • Experience in creating custom applications using Visual Basic Applications on SQL Server and Microsoft Access
  • Experience in creating custom reports for enterprise systems using Power BI and other similar reporting BI tools.
  • Deep understanding of RDBMS concepts and SQL programming and techniques.
  • A meticulous approach to work, with a strong aptitude for numbers and data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
