- Responsible for the performance of the following in a Multitasking Department:
- X-ray Procedures (Plain and Special Procedures)
- Portable X-ray
- Mobile Truck X-ray Conduction
- Ultrasound Procedures (General and Special Procedures)
- Ct-Scan Procedures
- MRI Procedures
- Mammogram Procedures
- Responsible for Delivering Customer Care and Quality Service:
- Initialize of giving Patient Satisfaction Form after the service.
- Proper Greetings and with service architecture to ACE Medical Center - Valenzuela patients, Co-workers, Visitors, Doctors and Top Management.
- Responsible for the safekeeping, proper storage and monitoring of department Medicine, contrast, medical and office supplies.
- Monthly Inventory of all supplies.
- Monthly Monitoring of near expired medicines and medical supplies
- Responsible for safekeeping, proper documentation, and organizing of patient records and results.
- Proper and complete filling up of patient information in department's logbook following the Philhealth standard.
- Proper quality control of results before releasing and filing.
- Proper organizing of patients records and result following the hospital policies on documents safekeeping and DOH standards.
- Responsible for proper handling and maintain the machine and equipment in good condition.
- Monthly inventory of department and hospital properties.
- Perform daily machine calibration and monitor room temperature.
- Report any incident like malfunctioning of unit, damage unit or for replacement of unit to chief radiologic technologist and supplier.
- Filing of service, PMS, and delivery of unit report for department reference.
- Perform troubleshooting and checking or evaluation to assess the machine status.
- Responsible for the implementation and promotion of radiation protection and safety in the workplace for our patients and co-workers.
- Must always wear the OSL (Film Badge) to monitor any probable exposure of staff to radiation hazard.
- Use of personnel protective equipment during the procedure like lead shield, gown, gloves, thyroid and pelvic shields also to our patients.
- Time, Distance, and Shielding principle must be kept in mind by the radiologic technologist during performing of any examination.
- Responsible for the handling intern students and recommend disciplinary action.
- Observe and guide the students to handle different kinds of machines for them to increase their knowledge in an actual setup.
- Gives Practical and written examination to students related to their course.
Qualification
- Must be a Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technologist
- Must be a Registered Radiologic Technologist
