Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst

Department: Technology / Product Development / QA

About the Role

We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join our

team. The QA Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that software applications and

systems meet the highest standards of quality, usability, and reliability before release. This

role requires a strong eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to

collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities


• Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new

and existing applications.


• Perform manual and automated testing to identify defects, performance issues,

and usability concerns.


• Analyze business requirements and technical specifications to design effective test

strategies.


• Track, document, and report defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail,

Bugzilla).


• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to ensure

quality at every stage of the software development lifecycle.


• Conduct regression, integration, functional, and user acceptance testing (UAT).


• Ensure applications comply with established standards and guidelines.


• Provide feedback and recommendations to improve product functionality,

performance, and user experience.


• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of QA processes, documentation,

and best practices.

Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or

equivalent work experience).


• Proven experience as a QA Analyst, Software Tester, or similar role.


• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.


• Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress,

Playwright, JUnit, TestNG).


• Basic understanding of programming or scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python,

SQL, JavaScript).


• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.


• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.


• High attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)


• Experience testing APIs and web services (Postman, SoapUI, RestAssured).


• Exposure to performance/load testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).


• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).


• ISTQB or other QA certifications.
