Duties and Responsibilities:
- Applies first aid and basic treatment to patients with minor injuries/ illnesses.
- Respond immediately to an emergency situation
- Analyzes and interprets patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, or diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
- Screens and prescribes medications based on efficacy, safety, and cost as legally authorized.
- Diagnoses or treats acute health care problems, such as illnesses, infections, or injuries.
- Diagnoses or treats chronic health care problems, such as high blood pressure and diabetes.
- Treats or refers patients for primary care conditions, such as headaches, hypertension, urinary tract infections, upper respiratory infections, and dermatological conditions.
- Prescribes medication dosages, routes, and frequencies, based on such patient characteristics as choronological profile and gender.
- Assists during the physical examination of the First Year Enrollees.
- Supervise patient care or support staff activities by coordinating with the health and benefits organizations of the College.
- Consults with, or refers patients to, appropriate medical practitioners or specialists when conditions exceed the scope of practice or expertise.
- Monitors and secures the inventory of medical materials, equipment, and medicines, with monthly inventory reports for documentation and security purposes.
- Prepares and provides College monthly/annual health reports to the immediate superior.
- Maintains complete and detailed records of patients' health care plans and prognoses.
- Secures and protects confidentiality of the medical records of all patients of the College clinic and/or medical facilities.
- Reads current literature, talks with colleagues, or participates in professional organizations or conferences to keep abreast of developments in nursing and enhance professional, technical, and personal proficiencies.
- Performs such other duties and responsibilities analogous, germane, or related to and/or implied from the above enumeration of duties and responsibilities.
Qualifications
Minimum Educational Attainment:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Registered nurse with valid professional license
Working Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
Designation:
- Reports directly to the General Administrative Department Head
- General Administrative Services
- Willing to be assigned in Antipolo City, Rizal
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate
Pay: Php21, Php24,000.00 per month
