About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Mandarin Translator to join our team in Cabuyao City Laguna. As a full-time Translator, you will play a vital role in facilitating seamless communication between our organisation and our Mandarin-speaking clients and partners.

What you'll be doing

1. Providing high-quality written translations from Mandarin to English and vice versa, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural appropriateness
2. Interpreting verbal communications during meetings, negotiations, and other business interactions
3. Developing and maintaining multilingual glossaries and style guides to ensure consistency in translations
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand context and project requirements
5. Researching and staying up-to-date with industry terminology and best practices in translation
6. Assisting with the localisation of marketing materials, contracts, and other business-critical documents

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field
2. Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Mandarin Translator
3. Native-level fluency in both Mandarin and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and consistency
5. Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
6. Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities
7. Familiarity with translation tools and computer-assisted translation (CAT) software
