Provides technical support, helps maintain hardware and software, assists with network tasks, and manages user accounts and inventory for an organization. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting user issues, installing and configuring systems, creating technical documentation, and performing regular maintenance to ensure smooth operation of IT infrastructure. This role requires strong problem-solving, communication, and technical skills to support end-users and assist the broader IT team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support:Provide first-line support to users for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • System & Software Management: Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software applications, and peripherals.
  • User Account Management: Assist with setting up and managing user accounts, profiles, and security permissions.
  • Network Support: Help with network administration tasks and ensure the proper functioning of the network infrastructure.
  • Hardware & Software Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, apply updates and patches, and monitor system performance.
  • Inventory & Documentation: Keep accurate records of IT inventory and create and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
  • IT Project Assistance: Support the IT team in implementing new projects, upgrades, and security measures.

Required Skills:

  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of computer systems, software, hardware, and basic networking concepts.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Communication Skills: Clear and professional communication to interact with users and IT colleagues.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage tasks, documentation, and inventory.
  • Customer Service: Ability to provide helpful and patient support to users.
