Responsibilities:

  • Developing and Maintaining Reports: Creating interactive and responsive Power BI reports and dashboards using Power BI Desktop.
  • Data Transformation: Using M Query to transform and load data into Power BI, ensuring clean and optimized data models.
  • Data Visualization: Designing and implementing visualizations (charts, graphs, etc.) to effectively communicate data insights.
  • DAX Calculations: Writing DAX measures for calculations, filtering, and aggregating data within reports.
  • Data Modeling: Working with data models to ensure data accuracy and efficient report performance.
  • Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving data-related issues in reports and dashboards.

Qualifications:

  • Data Visualization: Proficiency in data visualization best practices.
  • Power BI Desktop: Experience with Power BI Desktop is essential.
  • DAX: Strong understanding of DAX for calculations and data manipulation.
  • Data Modeling: Familiarity with data modeling concepts.
  • ETL: Basic knowledge of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team and with stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Eagerness to Learn: A desire to learn and grow in the field of Power BI development.
  • Data Governance: Basic understanding of data governance and data quality principles.
