Draughtsman

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and modify technical drawings and blueprints using AutoCAD software
• Produce detailed designs, layouts, and schematics based on project specifications
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure accuracy and adherence to project requirements
• Prepare drawings for construction, manufacturing, or other technical purposes
• Review and correct existing drafts and drawings as needed
• Ensure that all designs meet applicable standards, codes, and regulations
• Maintain and organize design files and ensure proper documentation management
• Make revisions to drawings as requested by project teams or clients
• Assist in creating and maintaining project documentation and reports

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an AutoCAD Operator or Draftsman
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software (both 2D and 3D drafting)
• Strong knowledge of drafting standards, symbols, and construction techniques
• Ability to interpret and work from engineering, architectural, and design specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of other design software (e.g., Revit, Civil 3D) is a plus
