Cadet Engineer

• BS Mechanical Engineering Graduate and/ or equivalent
• Works closely with production engineers to ensure products are designed for manufacturers of operation requirements.
• Responsible for the specification compliance of designs in accordance with departmental procedures.
• Responsible for preparing and presenting mechanical designs.
• Carries out detailed mechanical design work including 2D and 3D modelling, simulation and design verification testing, as required.
• Coordination of mechanical design approach with the Engineering Head and Team Leader.
• Ensures design files and information are kept up to date, and stored in accordance with departmental procedures.
• Keeps up to date with the latest operational requirements and drawing standards.
• Follows departmental processes relating to the management of designs.
• Responsible for carrying out design change requests in a timely manner.
• Ensures the mechanical design output fits in with all other aspects of the design.
• Conduct on – site works or fieldworks if requested.
• Conducts dimensional inspection using the guide or assistance of a Senior Engineer.
