Job Overview
The role develops and implements strategies to maximize revenue and profitability across Regions, Channels and Brands of PCPPI through advanced analytics and financial acumen to drive strategic, data driven decisions related to pricing, assortment, and portfolio mix.
Responsibility 1: Data Analysis and Research
Tasks:
- Lead and optimize the use of syndicated research data: Nielsen; Brand Health; Shopper Marketing; Consumption Metrics and available Internal Commercial Data to generate insights to be used as key input for portfolio and channel strategies
- Conduct in-depth analysis of market, shopper, and consumer data using proprietary tools , frameworks and fieldworks
- Develop pricing strategies using the Occasion, Brand, Pack, Price, Channel (OBPPC) framework
- Optimize the product portfolio, mix and assortment to ensure it is aligned with consumer insights and market demands, driving profit and growth
- Identify white spaces, size of prize and revenue opportunities for Emerging Channels and Portfolio Innovations
Responsibility 2: Cross Functional Collaboration
Tasks:
- Drive cross functional alignments and act as a business partner to internal teams including Commercial, Marketing and Finance to align RGM strategy priorities and ensure effective execution.
- Collaborate with external partners: PepsiCo Brand and Revenue Growth Teams to align insights and revenue opportunity priorities approved by Top Management
- Attend monthly MIM and MCM Meetings with PepsiCo
- Attend Joint Business Plans with PepsiCo
Responsibility 3: Performance Tracking & Reporting
Tasks:
- Monitor National and Regional Industry Trends, Sales Performance, Shares, Distribution, Offtake, and develop revenue opportunity maps
- Track Performance of Key Strategic Initiatives - New Innovations, Product Launches (NPLs), Channel Plans etc
- Lead monthly performance reviews communicating Insights on Results, Risks, and Opportunities of Priority Projects
Qualifications
· Preferably a graduate from Marketing/Business Management, Finance, Computer Science or Statistics course
· Strong experience in Business and Finance fields, preferably in Business Analysis, Data Analytics, and Finance
· 5+ years of experience in Business Analytics, Revenue Management or Market Research ideally in FMCG industry with exposure on Modern Trade and General Trade operations
· Proficiency in Advanced Excel, pivot tables preferably with coding experience with demonstrated ability in data visualization tools (Tableau or Power BI), presentation and storytelling
· Strong Analytical Skills, Attention to Details and Understanding of Pricing Strategies and Market Analysis
· Strong Communication Skills
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing individual responsibilities.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
· Proactive attitude towards learning and professional development.
