PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • First Aid Treatment which includes Assessment, Wound Dressing, Dispensing of Medicine; Gives medical attention and medication to ill employees.
  • Help perform diagnostic tests and analyze results, administer treatment and medications
  • Reports unsafe conditions and practices to the supervisor by making suggestions for correction or removal of accident or health standards.
  • Accompanies employees to the nearest medical facility during emergency
  • Maintains stock of medicine and other medical supplies
  • Coordinates with physicians/hospitals/dentist for possible admission or consultation of employees.
  • Record and maintains patients' medical histories and symptoms Maintains records of vital statistics and other pertinent data of patients
  • Prepares monthly state and medicine/supply usage of clinic expenses
  • Cleans and sterilizes instruments and equipment
  • Does home or hospital visitation when needed
  • Process sickness, medical benefits of employees.
  • Report to DOLE annual Accidents Report/ Record of establishment.
  • Assist in other Administrative functions as advised by the superior

KEY POSITION CRITERIA:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Must be a registered nurse with updated PRC License
  • Relevant certification on First Aid Training
  • Must have a BOSH training (50 hours)
  • With at least 2 years' experience in an industrial setting as Company Nurse
  • Preferably knowledgeable with HMO related concerns.
  • With good written and verbal communication skills
  • Willing to work on a shifting schedule
