Job Description

We are looking for a Software Developer who is fluent in Japanese and [English or other language] to join our growing team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications while collaborating with Japanese-speaking clients and colleagues to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain software applications according to specifications.
  • Collaborate with Japanese-speaking clients and team members to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
  • Translate technical concepts and documentation between Japanese and English.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices in software development.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.

Qualifications

  • Language Skills: Fluent in Japanese (JLPT N2 or above preferred) and proficient in [English or other language].
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in [Java / Python / JavaScript / C# / PHP, etc.]
  • Experience with [frameworks, e.g., React, , Spring Boot]
  • Knowledge of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on projects with Japanese companies or clients.
  • Knowledge of Japanese business culture and communication etiquette.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodology.
