Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, ensuring that all cooking utensils, dishes, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned, sanitized, and stored. This role supports the kitchen team by ensuring a safe, organized, and hygienic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Wash, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including floors, walls, and work surfaces.
  • Ensure garbage and recycling are properly disposed of in designated areas.
  • Assist in receiving and organizing deliveries and supplies.
  • Follow cleaning schedules for kitchen equipment, storage areas, and service areas.
  • Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs to management.
  • Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when required.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Support overall kitchen operations by keeping workstations organized and stocked.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Previous experience in kitchen operations, stewarding, or housekeeping (an advantage).
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, sanitation practices, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Work Conditions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php14, Php16,000.00 per month
