High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in fiber optics preferred.

1–3 years of experience in fiber optic splicing or related telecommunications work.

Proficiency in using splicing machines, OTDR, and other fiber testing equipment.

Knowledge of fiber types (single-mode, multi-mode) and splicing techniques (fusion, mechanical).

Good physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various conditions.Certification in fiber optics (e.g., FOA Certified Fiber Optic Technician).

Experience with underground and aerial fiber deployments.

Basic knowledge of network design and IP networks.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
