Job Overview
We are looking for a Mandarin Translator / Assistant Area Manager that plays a dual role in supporting both language translation needs and operational management of delivery hubs. The position ensures smooth communication between Mandarin-speaking stakeholders (management, partners, or clients) and local teams, while also assisting in the daily operations of an assigned area. This role bridges communication gaps and supports operational efficiency in a fast-paced courier and logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Translation & Communication - Translate written and verbal communications (Mandarin English/Filipino) including memos, contracts, policies, and reports.- Provide real-time interpretation during meetings, training sessions, and conferences.- Facilitate communication between Mandarin-speaking management/clients and local staff.- Ensure accuracy, cultural sensitivity, and confidentiality in all translations.
2. Operations Support (Assistant Area Manager Role) - Assist the Area Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations of express delivery hubs, including pickup, sorting, last-mile delivery, and COD (cash-on-delivery) reconciliation.- Support in manpower scheduling, rider/driver coordination, and warehouse management.- Monitor KPIs such as delivery turnaround time, on-time performance, and service quality.- Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.- Coordinate with HR, Admin, and Finance teams to ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
3. Business & Partner Relations - Support communication with Mandarin-speaking business partners, e-commerce platforms, and vendors.- Translate and explain business terms, service agreements, and operational instructions for smooth collaboration.- Act as liaison during inspections, audits, or client visits.
4. Reporting & Documentation - Assist in preparing operational reports, incident reports, and area performance reviews.- Translate and organize official documents required for regulatory compliance or internal use.- Provide feedback and updates to higher management on area operations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Communication, or related field.
- Must be fluent in Mandarin (speaking, reading, and writing) and English/Filipino.* At least 2–3 years of experience in logistics, courier, supply chain, or related industry (preferred).
- Strong background in operations management or supervisory role is an advantage.* Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and people management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace and operations monitoring tools.
- High integrity, confidentiality, and ability to work in a multicultural environment.* Must be amenable to work or residing near Pampanga Area.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php60, Php70,000.00 per month
