The QAQC Engr/Archi is the overall in-charge of tasks below:
Quality Assurance
- Reviews QAQC documents, including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection request, Non - Conformance Report (NCR) and all other QAQC related documents
- Attends QAQC meetings, seminars, workshop, training and orientation to ensure that the methodologies are updated
- Regular checking of delivered materials on site
- Reviewing of plans and specification to be aligned to project requirements.
- Prepares logbook of Work Inspection Request (WIR) status for proper monitoring Prepares scrum and wrap for monitoring of accomplished daily activities
Quality Control
- Regular site monitoring to check if the activity is aligned to the Quality Management Systme (QMS)
- Conducts regular site mock up demo for the subcontractors and operations
- Issuance of Non-Compliance Report (NCR) to maintain the standard quality implemented on site
- Regular inspections of ongoing activities to minimize possible errors
Subcontractor Management for Quality of Works
- Recommends and evaluates subcontractors' work based on quality standard implemented on site.
- Regular issuance of works not aligned to the standard quality
Documentations
- Prepares necessary documents for close out of Non - Conformance Report (NCR), Quality Observation Report (QOR)
- Prepares weekly reports not limited to non-compliance.
- Preparing logbook for inspected areas
- Evaluates subcontractor's billing to be submitted to the Quality Surveyor within the agreed deadline.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture;
- Preferably with at least 1 - 2 years of related working experience;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-oriented approach;
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work independently or as part of a team;
- Solid organizational skills including strong analytical, communication, presentation skills as well as an eye for detail and multitasking skills; Results-oriented, team-player with strong interpersonal skills;
- Willing to be assigned in Matandang Balara, Quezon City;
- Amenable to commute / relocate or living near / within Quezon City;
- CAN START IMMEDIATELY.

Archipelago Builders Corporation
The company was established in 1965, engaging in General Building Construction under the name Archipelago Builders. The office started from renting a room of a building at Rizal Avenue, Sta. Cruz, Manila and the Warehouse / Steel Shop were located at Old Samson Road, Balintawak, Quezon City.
Started with a Building Contractor-Category "C" by Professional Regulations Commission, it was later recognized as a General Building Contractor-Class "B". In the year the company doubled its personnel, rented another three (3) rooms in the same building and added another three (3) compartment warehouses and steel shop for its expanded operations for both public and private sectors. In 1977, the company was recognized as a General Engineering and General Building-Category "A", engaged in both horizontal and vertical construction.
In 1979, Archipelago Builders started construction of its own three and a one half (3 -1/2) storey building at No.29 North Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City, to house its main office and diversified businesses like the restaurant, construction supply and real state.
In 1987, as the company continued to grow, the category "A" further upgraded to Category 'AA'
In 1998, the year of economic crisis, inflation and political strife in the country, fortunately, Archipelago Builders was awarded quite a number of projects in Metro Manila, Southern Luzon and Visayas. Because of this, Archipelago Builders was finally upgraded to Category 'AAA'.
Today, after many years of construction experience, Archipelago Builders aims to further develop the quality of construction and help build future for this country. This is our vision and mission.
