Our Mining and Geotechnical group is looking for a Mining Site Engineer to provide assistance to the Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) project in the preparation and implementation of design plans, technical specifications, methodologies, and project management monitoring. This role involves:Acting as QA/QC on site and facilitating QA/QC coordination meetings

Ensuring inspections are conducted according to plan

Studying work plans submitted by contractors and suggesting modifications

Inspecting site works to ensure compliance with contract and specifications

Supervising site works in accordance with contract

Inspecting and testing materials before use at site

Ensuring proper implementation of technical specifications and quality of materials

Checking and testing completed works before coverage, documenting with photos

Maintaining site safety and health measures

Preparing daily and weekly reports, and suggesting safety improvements

Monitoring critical items and maintaining documentation

Supporting data management during project phases

Engaging in professional development and recommending innovations

Qualifications:At least 5+ years' experience in mining and construction industry

Knowledge of testing and hold points during TSF construction

Focus on client service and project safety
