Job Summary

The Project Site Architect is responsible for overseeing architectural works at the construction site, ensuring that design intent, quality standards, and project specifications are accurately implemented. The role involves coordinating with consultants, contractors, and clients while managing site-related architectural issues from groundbreaking through project completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the architectural design team on-site and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications
  • Review architectural shop drawings, material submittals, and samples for compliance with design intent
  • Coordinate architectural works with structural, MEP, and other disciplines
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction quality and progress
  • Identify, report, and resolve design and site-related issues in a timely manner
  • Issue site instructions, sketches, and clarifications as required
  • Ensure adherence to local building codes, regulations, and safety standards
  • Attend site meetings and prepare progress and inspection reports
  • Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to resolve construction challenges
  • Assist in snagging, punch lists, and final inspections before project handover
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture
  • Licensed Architect or eligibility for professional registration (preferred)
  • 3–8 years of experience in site-based architectural roles (project-dependent)
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and detailing
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit and BIM experience is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
