Reporting to Equipment Supervisor, the Electrician III is accountable and responsible for the installation, trouble shooting, repair and maintenance of the light and heavy equipment electrical component. Schedules and implement preventive maintenance on the electrical component of light and heavy equipment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct minor and major troubleshooting and repair of basic electrical parts of light and heavy equipment units.
- Facilitate the standard wiring installations of electrical component system.
- Dismantling and mounting of electrical components power supply for engine starting system.
- Perform the proper service and maintenance of D-C wet cells battery for heavy equipment use.
- Disassemble and reassemble of selective electrical component as directed by immediate supervisor.
- Facilitate in the electrical major repair and troubleshooting activities, especially in Electronic Control Module system related.
- Repair of electrical driven motors (rotor, stator, winding terminals, carbon brush and its parts).
- Prepare and submit daily accomplishment report as per immediate supervisor's instruction.
- Prepare electrical plan and circuit diagram for installation survey.
- Perform electrical equipment testing, standard procedure prior to unit actual operation.
Familiarize of the Philippine Electrical Codes and Safety Standard manual.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
At least high school graduate, preferable vocational graduate in Auto Electrician or Industrial Electrician.
At least 3 years in experience in Auto Electrician of heavy equipment.
Pass required trade test.
Must able to apply service parts manual.
Must be able to interpret Electrical/Electronic schematic diagram of heavy equipment.
Rewiring of electrical motor, alternators and other electrical accessories.
Rewiring/Re-harness complete light and heavy equipment.
