Job Summary:

The Commercial Finance / Financial Reporting Officer supports financial planning, reporting, and analysis to drive retail business performance. This role ensures accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, budget monitoring, and compliance with accounting standards, enabling data-driven decision-making for commercial growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis with recommendations.
  • Support commercial teams with sales, margin, and profitability reporting.
  • Develop financial models for forecasting and strategic planning.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to gather and verify financial data.
  • Assist in annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities for financial reporting systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, CPA is an advantage
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in financial reporting or commercial finance, preferably in retail.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/accounting systems.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
