Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent
  • Must be amenable to work on Night shift
  • Must be amenable to work in Makati City
  • Must be amenable to work in a hybrid setup (2x a week onsite)
  • At least 8 years of experience in Java / Full Stack development
  • Spring framework, Spring Boot, ReactJS
  • API Gateways: Apigee, Service Mesh ISTIO
  • Logging tools: Splunk, ELK
  • Programming Languages: Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, .NET and\or Java
  • Web: SOAP, REST, XSD, JSON, XML, Apollo GraphQL
  • Data Management / Event Streaming: Cassandra, DB2, SQL Server, Event Streaming, Kafka, NOSQL, MongoDB, Oracle
  • Operating System: Windows, Linux, zOS · Information Security Vulnerability Management: Black Duck, Twistlock, Fortify, PRISMA
  • DevSecOps CICD Pipelines: Cloudbees Jenkins, Rancher
  • Source Code Management: Gitlab
  • Cloud: Azure, Microservices, Containers, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS
  • Agile tools: JIRA, JIRA Align, JIRA Dragonboat, Version One, Confluence
  • Excellent communication skills

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Design and write complex code in several languages relevant to our existing product stack, with a focus on automation
  • Configure, tune, maintain and install applications systems and validates system functionality
  • Install new software releases and application system upgrades. Evaluates and installs software patches
  • Monitor and fine tunes applications system to achieve optimum performance levels and work with hardware teams to resolve issues with hardware and software
  • Assist with application system problem resolution by working with application developers, vendors, and internal infrastructure team members to troubleshoot
  • Address product backlog and provide continuous delivery of high-quality features
  • Maintain a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation to ensure data integrity
  • Act to improve the overall reliability of systems and to increase efficiency
  • Work collaboratively with cross functional teams, using Agile / DevOps principles to bring products to life, achieve business objectives and serve customer needs
