Job Description:
- Conducts hearing tests and audiometric evaluations to assess patients' hearing levels and ear health
- Operates and maintains audiometric equipment, ensuring accuracy and calibration
- Records and interprets test results under the supervision of an ENT specialist or audiologist
- Assists in diagnosing hearing disorders and recommending appropriate interventions or follow-up tests
- Educates patients on test procedures and provides guidance on hearing protection and care
- Prepares and maintains accurate patient records and reports
- Ensures proper infection control and cleanliness of testing areas and equipment
- Coordinates with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care
- Supports hearing conservation programs and periodic employee hearing screenings (for occupational health)
Qualifications:
- Graduate of BS in Medical Technology, Nursing, or related allied health course (with audiometry training or certification preferred)
- With audiometry training and certification from a DOH-accredited institution
- Preferably with experience in hospital or clinical audiometric testing
- Knowledgeable in audiometric techniques, ear anatomy, and hearing protection standards
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle technical equipment
- Excellent communication and patient-handling skills
- Organized, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a healthcare team
- Willing to work on flexible schedules and handle occupational health screenings
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
