Education

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL programming/development.
  • Experience in monitoring and supporting client databases using SQL Developer and UNIX.
  • Experience in monitoring Oracle Batch Processes (morning and night) using UC4 AppworX and Oracle Data Integrator.
  • Experience preparing/facilitating reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12.
  • Experience with SQL Developer, SQL*Plus, and MySQL databases.
  • Experience in Web Development using PHP, MySQL, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript.

Job Description

The Programmer Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications ranging from simple to moderately complex. The role ensures that all solutions adhere to approved business specifications, regulatory requirements, and company standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesSystems Analysis & Design

  • Provide high-level assessment and impact analysis for system change requests.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts to provide design inputs and development estimates.
  • Translate user requirements into detailed technical design documents.
  • Develop prototypes when required to validate design concepts.

Programming & Development

  • Write, develop, and enhance programs based on approved technical specifications.
  • Analyze, modify, and develop existing PL/SQL packages based on change requests.
  • Create, maintain, and debug applications integrated with Oracle E-Business Suite and other systems.

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Conduct unit testing to ensure programs function according to specification.
  • Create and execute unit tests and system tests for developed programs.
  • Investigate and resolve issues identified during SIT (System Integration Testing) and UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
  • Ensure all development work complies with the company's Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) standards.

Production Support & Maintenance

  • Maintain applications deployed in production; perform fixes, enhancements, or optimizations as needed.
  • Create deployment manuals and perform actual deployments in the Production environment.
  • Provide operational support and respond to technical inquiries related to Oracle E-Business Suite.
  • Act as an SME and provide knowledge transfer to team members.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare required technical documentation including design, specifications, and deployment manuals.
  • Create summaries or reports for leads during meetings or presentations.
  • Communicate with clients regarding change requests and assist in leading application support activities.
