I. GENERAL INFORMATION
Position: Research and Development Technician
Department: Research and Development (R&D)
Project: Feed Development
Work Location : Pulilan, Bulacan
II. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP
Reports to: R&D Head
III. RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Conduct experiments and analysis based on aquaculture and algae-related projects.
2. Accurately record all data from experiments in both paper and electronic form.
3. Conceptualize and design experimental methodologies based on existing research.
4. Write detailed reports about the project in English, including research, methodology, results, and analysis.
5. Maintain laboratory equipment to internal standards.
6. Organize and store equipment and chemicals based on safety instructions.
7. Strictly follow all safety and biosecurity guidelines at all times.
8. Coordinate with existing farms and is open to doing fieldwork.

Educational Attainment: BS in Biology, Fisheries, and other related course
Preferred Experience: At least a year of experience working in aquaculture/fisheries/biology-related laboratories or institutes for education or work.
Requirements/Skills:
1. Proficient oral and written communication skills, both in Tagalog and English.
2. Knowledge about aquaculture species morphology and various analyses related to biology.
3. Good attention to detail.
4. Reliable and honest about experimental results.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
6. Open to traveling to multiple sites to assess and collect samples, and collaborate with other business units.
7. Open to working longer shifts if necessary (extending work earlier if the experiment calls for it, or on weekends based on biological clocks).
8. Ability to work autonomously and under pressure, but also with a team.
