DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Shall oversee, monitor, and evaluate the out-source food service provider
- Monitors nutrition care of patients and recommends techniques and procedures in the preparation and servicing of regular and modified diets to patients
- Shall monitor the tray line distribution of therapeutic diets including tube feeding preparation to ensure that doctor's prescribed diet is properly implemented
- Shall monitor the progress of patient's diet order
- Shall consult the attending physician concerning dietary prescriptions that need verification if necessary.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Educational requirements:
- Graduate of BS Nutrition and Dietetics.
Work Experience:
- With at least 1 to 2 years of relevant experience. Preferably in a Hospital set up.
Working Conditions
- The employee shall work mostly in an office set-up with office hours from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Mondays thru Fridays.
