Fil.Born Builders is currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Office & Site Civil Engineer to join our construction team. This role involves both site supervision and office-based coordination to ensure successful and timely execution of civil works in accordance with project specifications, timelines, and safety standards.

Minimum Qualifications

✓ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

✓ Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC) is required.

✓ At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in construction, preferably with both office and site exposure.

✓ Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word), AutoCAD, and basic project management tools.

✓ Knowledgeable in costing or estimating.

✓ Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.

✓ Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication and negotiation skills.

✓ Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

✓ Willing to be assigned to any project site if needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

OFFICE DUTIES

  • Prepare quantity take-offs, bill of materials, and cost estimates.
  • Assist in the preparation and evaluation of technical drawings, shop drawings, and as-built plans.
  • Support the purchasing dept. by preparing material requests and reviewing supplier quotations.
  • Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.
  • Coordinate with architects, and engineers for document submissions and revisions.
  • Maintain accurate records of project documents (ISO Standards)
  • Assist in project scheduling and progress tracking using project management tools.

SITE DUTIES

  • Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with design plans, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Monitor work progress and prepare daily reports and maintain accurate records of project activities.
  • Coordinate with foremen, subcontractors, and workers to ensure proper resource allocation.
  • Conduct quality control inspections and resolve on-site technical issues.
  • Ensure implementation of safety protocols and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and optimize resource allocation, including materials, equipment, and manpower.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the department.
