Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of FP&A to lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting for our hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare finance and a proven ability to drive financial performance, support strategic decision-making, and ensure sustainable growth. This role requires a hands-on leader who can translate complex financial data into actionable insights for executive management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the hospital's FP&A function, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the hospital's operational and strategic goals.
  • Provide insightful financial analysis, including revenue, cost, and profitability trends, to support executive decision-making.
  • Partner with department heads to optimize operational performance and resource allocation.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Monitor key financial metrics, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting.
  • Support strategic initiatives such as capital projects, new service lines, or hospital expansion plans.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or professional finance certification (CPA, CMA) preferred.
  • Minimum of 7–10 years of FP&A experience, with at least 3–5 years in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of hospital financial operations, including revenue cycle, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, ERP systems, and advanced Excel; familiarity with hospital finance software is a plus.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
