Driver/Messenger

Job Summary:

The Driver/Messenger is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of personnel, documents, and goods, as well as performing clerical and administrative tasks as needed. The ideal candidate must have excellent driving skills, a strong understanding of road safety regulations, and the ability to handle sensitive information and valuable items with discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport personnel, documents, and goods to designated locations.
• Deliver and retrieve documents, packages, and other items between offices, clients, and stakeholders.
• Handle confidential documents and sensitive materials with discretion.
• Assist with bank transactions, including check deposits and encashments.
• Perform basic clerical and administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Maintain the vehicle in good condition, ensuring regular cleaning and basic maintenance.
• Adhere to traffic laws and company policies regarding transportation and document handling.
• Willingness to work overtime or extend driving periods as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proven work experience as a driver and/or messenger.

Skills:

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Trustworthy and hardworking, with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Knowledge of bank transactions (e.g., check deposits, encashments) is a plus.
• Willingness to work overtime, including extended driving hours, as needed (with pay).
• Must be comfortable performing occasional office and clerical duties in a standard office setting.
