Key Responsibilities
Mechanical Assistance
  • Assist lead mechanics in inspecting, maintaining, and repairing vehicles, machinery, and equipment.
  • Perform basic mechanical tasks such as changing oil and filters, replacing belts, lubricating parts, and checking fluid levels.
  • Prepare tools, parts, and equipment for repair jobs.
  • Help with disassembly and reassembly of mechanical components under supervision.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workshop and tool storage areas.
Driving and Transportation
  • Safely operate company trucks, vans, or utility vehicles to transport equipment, materials, and personnel.
  • Deliver parts to job sites or service locations as required.
  • Load and unload materials using safe handling procedures.
  • Maintain vehicle logs, mileage reports, and basic vehicle care (fueling, washing, inspections).
General Support
  • Follow all safety guidelines and report any hazards or equipment issues.
  • Assist with inventory control of tools, spare parts, and supplies.
  • Support job site operations such as setting up work areas or retrieving tools.
  • Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members regarding job progress and needs.
