Kitchen Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen activities, including food preparation, staff management, inventory control, food costing and adherence to safety and sanitation standards.
JOB SCOPE:
- Supervise and lead BOH staff in all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, production, safety, and sanitation.
- Ensure food is prepared and served according to company standards for quality, taste, portion, and presentation.
- Manage food cost, labor cost, spoilage, yield, and overall P&L performance of the kitchen.
- Conduct regular inventory and ensure proper stock management to prevent shortages and wastage.
- Implement and monitor compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols.
- Direct and coordinate kitchen workflow to maintain efficiency during operations.
- Oversee staff performance—motivate, coach, and discipline team members as needed.
- Prepare and execute BOH manpower scheduling based on business needs.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and control systems.
- Collaborate with the Restaurant General Manager to ensure smooth coordination between FOH and BOH.
- Personally, attend to guest complaints related to food quality and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain flexibility with store assignments and be willing to work on shifting schedules, including weekends and holidays.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of Culinary Arts, HRM or any equivalent course
- Minimum 4 years experience as a Kitchen Manager or Assistant Restaurant Chef from a casual or fine dining restaurant
- Knowledgeable in People Management, Shift Management and Inventory Management
- Knowledgeable in using Microsoft Office application (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Knowledgeable with kitchen equipment and culinary techniques.
- Has full understanding with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php30, Php40,000.00 per month
