This job also opens pathways for career growth in the marine industry through practical training and skill development.ResponsibilitiesReports to Marine Manager and function as his back upAttending LNG Ship to Ship Operation as a Terminal RepresentativeEnsure that the marine operations are carried out as per Terminal Regulation Handbook-latest revision Closely monitoring and coordinating with Terminal and FSU for the safe transfer of LNG to the terminal storage tanksEnsuring readiness of the marine berth and its equipment for safe dockingCoordinating with Tug company for the readiness of the tugboats to attend the docking/undockingCoordinating with agents for Pilots/Mooring crew availability for docking/undocking of LNGC.Liaising with commercial team to fix the schedule of the STS operationCarrying out bunker surveys of the tugboats when neededInspecting the tugboats as a charter's representative and generating reports and follow upPlan and schedule tugboats security duties to guard security zoneCarrying out inspection of the primary and secondary fenders as per the scheduleCoordinate with Fender inspection company to schedule periodic maintenanceCarrying out Ship Shore Compatibility and mooring analysis reviewAttending daily meetings with Master of FSU and Terminal meetings to address daily issues.Ensuring that the marine equipment on the jetty is functional and coordinate with maintenance team for timely attendance, if neededFollow up with procurement team for the timely approval of marine related purchase requisitionEnsure PPU and workstation license and ENC permits are valid, and the equipment is functionalPrepare and conduct JPO meeting before STS operationFunction as back up of POAC when needed.Carry out logistic arrangements of attending mooring masters and POACQualificationsChief Mate with License (STCW II/2>3000GT) and experience on LNG/LPG sea going vessel of at least 12 months as Junior/Chief OfficerSenior 2nd Mate (24 months sea experience) with Mates License (STCW II/2>3000GT) can be considered provided experience on LNG/LPG sea going vessel of at least 12 monthsExperience of working in Oil/Gas terminal for more than 2 years will be an added advantageShould have fair knowledge about Optimor mooring analysisGood communication skill in EnglishWell conversant with MS Office
