Housekeeping Supervisor

Maintains the cleanliness and hygiene of the property by managing housekeeping services, enforcing sanitation protocols, and implementing proactive pest management strategies.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conducts routine inspections of high-risk zones (e.g., restrooms, food courts, waste rooms).
• Coordinates with housekeeping agency across front-of-house, back-of-house, restrooms, and high-traffic areas.
• Checks cleaning schedules, performs spot-cleaning, and ensures on-the-ground presence for accountability.
• Enforces standard cleaning protocols and ensures visual readiness before mall opening and during operations
• Coordinates routine pest-control treatments with in-house and external providers and monitors vendor performance.
• Conducts joint inspections with Engineering for pest harborage risks (moisture, gaps, storage).
• Enforces trash segregation, sealed food storage, and pest-proofing practices in common and lessee areas
• Coordinates with HRD on additional manpower for event setups, high-footfall days, and renovation cleanups
• Coordinates cleaning of zones after emergencies (e.g., leaks, flooding, or broken glass).
• Enforces proper PPE usage and safe handling of cleaning chemicals in accordance with SDS guidelines
• Reports deficiencies, initiates corrective actions, and ensures regulatory documentation is updated
• Monitors restroom readiness (cleanliness, supplies, fragrance) every shift.
• Ensures daily deep-cleaning of entrances, lobbies, and other high-impact areas.
• Checks visibility, grooming, and behaviour of janitorial staff in line with Customer Mania principles
• Performs other duties that may be assigned by superior/s from time to time

Qualification

Education

• BS Degree Graduate

Experience

• At least three (3) years of supervisory experience as Sanitation Officer/Supervisor.
