SAP CI Consultant
Role and Responsibilities:
The SAP Integration Suite Executive/Technical Associate Consultant will be responsible for the hands-on development, implementation, and management of complex integration solutions using SAP Integration Suite (formerly known as SAP Cloud Platform Integration). This role demands a deep technical understanding of integration technologies and the ability to translate business requirements into reliable and scalable integration solutions.
Key Technical Responsibilities:
- Integration Design and Development:
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze integration requirements.
- Design and develop robust integration solutions using SAP Integration Suite, including creating integration flows, mappings, and configurations.
- Implement data transformation, message mappings, and value mappings to ensure accurate data exchange between systems.
- Configuration and Management:
- Configure and manage various integration adapters (e.g., HTTP, IDoc, SFTP, SOAP, REST) for connecting SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Ensure proper authentication and authorization mechanisms are in place, leveraging security artifacts such as OAuth, SSL, and digital certificates.
- Testing and Troubleshooting:
- Conduct unit testing, system integration testing, and performance testing to ensure the quality and reliability of integration solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to message processing, data transformation, and connectivity.
- Monitor integration processes using SAP Monitoring tools and manage message queues, logs, and alerts.
- Deployment and Documentation:
- Deploy integration scenarios across different environments, following change management procedures.
- Document integration designs, technical specifications, and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure proper maintenance.
Professional Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite (formerly SAP CPI) and overall SAP integration experience of 2-3 years
- Proven experience in developing and managing medium and high complexity integration scenarios within SAP and non-SAP environments.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in designing, developing, and configuring integration flows using SAP Integration Suite.
- Strong skills in Groovy or Java scripting for custom logic development.
- Experience with various integration protocols (e.g., HTTP, SOAP, REST, IDoc, SFTP) and security standards (e.g., OAuth, SSL).
- Familiarity with SAP APIs, BAPIs, IDocs.
- Knowledge of SAP PI/PO and other middleware platforms is a plus.
Tools and Technologies:
- SAP Integration Suite development tools and monitoring dashboards.
- API Management and Open Connectors within SAP Integration Suite.
- Advanced Event Mesh configuration and connecting it with Integration suite artifacts

SAP CI Assistant Manager
Role and Responsibilities:
The SAP Integration Suite Assistant Manager is a strategic role responsible for designing, developing and overseeing the implementation of comprehensive integration architectures across the organization. The candidate will lead and manage a team of integration developers while driving end-to-end delivery of integration projects, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
Key Technical Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership:
- Lead and guide the integration team in designing, developing, and implementing complex integration solutions using SAP Integration Suite (formerly SAP Cloud Platform Integration).
- Mentor and develop team members' technical skills, ensuring best practices and standards are followed across all projects.
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with external partners for third-party integrations
- Prepare and present project updates, risk assessments, and improvement plans to senior management.
Integration Design and Architecture:

Professional Experience:
- 7-10 years of extensive experience in SAP integration technologies, with a strong focus on SAP Integration Suite.
- Proven experience in architecting and implementing large-scale integration solutions.
- Proven track record in leading and mentoring technical teams.
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in SAP Integration Suite, including designing and implementing complex integration scenarios.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Groovy, or other relevant scripting languages.
- Proficient in SOAP, REST, OData, and other web service protocols.
