Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Loading and Unloading: Safely and efficiently loading company products onto the delivery vehicle and unloading them at the delivery location.
  • Navigation Assistance: Assisting the driver in finding delivery locations and potentially providing GPS directions.
  • Customer Service: Interacting with customers to resolve issues, obtain signatures for delivered items, and collect payments.
  • Order Accuracy: Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that the correct items and quantities are delivered.
  • Record Keeping: Compiling delivery records, reports, and other required paperwork.
  • Safety and Maintenance: Adhering to all safety protocols, maintaining the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle, and ensuring the safety of products.
  • Communication: Liaising with the main office or logistics team and reporting any delivery-related problems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Physical Stamina: The ability to lift heavy objects and stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
  • Customer Service Skills: A customer-focused mindset and excellent communication skills to handle client interactions effectively.
