Irrigation Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Irrigation Designer to support design projects remotely. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in DWG, Revit, Autodesk, and LandFX, with solid knowledge of sprinkler systems, flow rates, and irrigation hydraulics. While Australian project experience is an advantage, it is not a requirement. This is a remote position with a collaborative team environment and company-provided equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and modify irrigation designs using DWG, Revit, Autodesk, and LandFX
• Apply knowledge of sprinkler layout, water flow rates, and hydraulic calculations to ensure efficient irrigation planning
• Interpret site plans, architectural drawings, and landscaping requirements to produce accurate irrigation layouts
• Coordinate with landscape architects, engineers, and project teams to ensure design compliance and functionality
• Prepare documentation and technical drawings for submission and construction
• Revise plans based on feedback or site-specific requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in irrigation design, preferably in a consulting or design firm
• Proficiency in DWG, Revit, Autodesk, and LandFX
• Solid understanding of irrigation systems, including sprinkler types, water flow rates, and hydraulic design principles
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects remotely
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with Australian standards and projects is a plus but not required
