Finance Specialist / Finance Officer

Location: Makati City

Work Setup: Hybrid (3–4 days onsite, 1–2 days remote)

Schedule: Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Employment Type: Full-time | Permanent

Job Summary

We are looking for a Finance Specialist / Finance Officer to manage day-to-day financial operations, including payables and receivables, invoicing, coordination with external finance vendors, and monthly reporting. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial records, timely compliance with government requirements, and smooth internal finance processes.

This position is ideal for a highly organized finance professional with strong operational finance experience who thrives in a structured, behind-the-scenes role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
  • Prepare, issue, and follow up on client invoices
  • Assist in the preparation and consolidation of monthly financial reports in coordination with an external finance vendor
  • Liaise with third-party accounting/finance partners to ensure accuracy and on-time submissions
  • Handle government compliance and statutory requirements, including BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and related filings
  • Track and manage company and executive expenses, reimbursements, and operational costs
  • Maintain organized financial records and digital filing systems
  • Ensure adherence to internal financial policies and controls
  • Provide general support for finance and administrative processes

Qualifications

  • Finance Specialist level: Minimum 3 years experience as a Finance Assistant, Accounting Associate, or similar role
  • Finance Officer level (preferred): Minimum 6 years relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
  • Familiarity with accounting and invoicing tools such as QuickBooks, Excel, Monday App, or similar systems
  • Working knowledge of Philippine taxation and statutory compliance
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and coordinate with external service providers
  • Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills
  • Experience in SMEs or consulting/service firms is a plus

Additional Requirements

  • Must be willing to work long hours when needed
  • Must be amenable to hybrid work in Makati
  • Must be residing near Makati (Mandaluyong, Taguig, Pasay, Manila, etc.)
  • No prior BPO employment
