About the Role

The Warehouseman plays a key role in ensuring materials, tools, and equipment for renovation projects are properly received, stored, organized, and dispatched.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies.
  • Organize and label inventory for easy retrieval.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in monthly inventory audits.
  • Monitor stock levels and alert the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager of shortages or discrepancies.

Warehouse Operations

  • Prepare and pack materials needed for daily installation schedules.
  • Ensure all orders and materials are complete and accurate before dispatch.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the warehouse.
  • Operate warehouse tools and equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, trolleys) safely.

Logistics & Dispatch

  • Coordinate with Installers, Site Surveyors, and Operations for timely release of materials.
  • Assist in loading and unloading deliveries.
  • Track movement of materials using internal systems or manual logs.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Encode deliveries, material releases, and returns into the inventory system.
  • Report damaged, missing, or low-stock items immediately.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or college level preferred.
  • Experience in warehousing, logistics, or construction supply handling is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management is a plus.
  • Physically fit; able to lift and move materials.
  • Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight installation schedules.
