Bartender (Mixologist) - SIQUIJOR

CAREER OVERVIEW

RUNIK Beach Club & Resort, nestled in the captivating island of Siquijor, Philippines, is looking for enthusiastic and charismatic Bartenders (Mixologists) to oversee bar operations and to ensure that they provide positive and excellent guest drinking experience. He/She ensures the smooth running of the bar and should also be skilled in serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to restaurant and bar patrons. Good Mixologists will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers' needs and expectations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a smooth bar operation on a daily basis
• Ensure every guest receives high quality service and drinks
• Interact with customers and improve bar operation and service based on feedback received
• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for our guests and VIPs
• You will be the spirit and spotlight of the beverage service offerings
• Strive to be ahead of the trend in inventing and promoting new beverage creation
• Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Plan and present bar menu
• Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Responsible for accurate processing of ingredients and proper standard pouring of spirits and liqueurs
• Track, Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Ensures cocktail stations, equipments, and appliances are well maintained and cleaned.
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Qualifications

• Preferable a relevant degree in Business or Hospitality Management
• Proven experience leading a bar program
• Minimum 1 year professional cocktail experience as a Bar Supervisor in a high-volume and fast paced environment required
• Minimum 2 years professional cocktail experience as a Bartender in a high-volume and fast paced environment required
• Previous bar experience, preferably in 4 or 5 star hotel environment
• Dynamic personality and pride in personal appearance & grooming
• Excellent communication skills and pleasing personality
• Articulate verbal communication
• Ability to multitask and to work independently with the team
• Capacity to work well under pressure and to strict time lines

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php13, Php25,000.00 per month
