Slot Technician

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree, vocational course, or equivalent education (college level acceptable; technical training or an associate degree in electronics preferred).
• Experience with slot machine repair or other electronic/mechanical equipment.
• Strong understanding of electronics, circuit boards, and basic networking.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and writing diagrams.
• Familiarity with gaming regulations and casino operations is a plus.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license from the appropriate jurisdiction.
• Physically able to lift 50lbs.,bend,kneel, and work in tight spaces.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Install, set up, and configure slot machines and related gaming equipment.
2. Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure machines operate efficiently.
3. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and software issues in slot machines.
4. Respond promptly to service calls and machine malfunctions on the casino floor.
5. Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service history.
6. Ensure compliance with all state and local gaming regulations and internal controls.
7. Collaborate with slot operations and security teams to ensure safe and effective machine management.
8. Upgrade machine hardware and software as needed.
9. Monitor slot machine performance and report anomalies or trends.
10. Assist in machine moves, conversions, and game changes.
11. Maintain an organized and secure inventory of parts and tools.
