NATURE AND SCOPE OF JOB:

We are seeking a passionate and creative Part Time/or Full Time Mandarin Teacher to join our preschool team. The ideal candidate will foster a love of language and culture in young learners through engaging lessons, play-based learning, and cultural integration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lesson Planning & Delivery:

Design and implement developmentally appropriate Mandarin lessons that align with curriculum standards and support language acquisition through songs, stories, games, and hands-on activities.

Cultural Integration:

Introduce elements of Chinese culture, traditions, and celebrations to enrich the learning experience and promote cultural awareness.

Student Assessment:

Observe, document, and assess student progress in language development, providing feedback and adapting instruction to meet individual learning needs.

Classroom Management:

Create a nurturing, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment that supports social-emotional growth and active participation.

Collaboration & Teamwork:

Work closely with fellow teachers and school staff to support overall classroom goals and participate in school events and activities.

Professional Development:

Stay informed on best practices in early childhood education and Mandarin language instruction, actively participating in ongoing training and development.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (native or near-native fluency); strong command of spoken and written Mandarin.
  • Experience teaching Mandarin to young children, ideally in a preschool or early childhood setting is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development and age-appropriate teaching strategies.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to integrate cultural content into lessons in engaging and meaningful ways.
  • Amenable to be assigned in Makati but also teach in BGC and Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
  • Part time or full time employment is welcome.
