Job Summary:

As Driver Helper at Locavore, safely transports cargo to their desired locations, ensuring comfort, punctuality, and a professional experience, duties may include driving to appointments, or other destinations, planning routes, maintaining the vehicle's cleanliness and functionality, and assisting with luggage or other items.

Key Responsibilities:

• Route Planning: Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries while considering traffic and weather conditions.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle, ensuring it is clean, well-maintained, and compliant with safety regulations; report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving and handling deliveries.
• Assistance: Support other departments as needed, including helping with loading/unloading items or running errands.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in a driving or messenger role preferred but not required.
• Licenses: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; additional certifications (e.g., DOT, chauffeur's license) may be required based on the vehicle type.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to [insert weight] pounds; must be able to sit for extended periods while driving.
