Role Overview
The Senior Business Development Executive plays a key role in supporting the growth and performance of Global-Link MP's trade exhibitions. This role focuses on
proposal development, coordination across teams, and ensuring alignment from planning to execution
. You will work closely with senior leadership and internal departments to help turn business opportunities into well-executed events.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales & Revenue Management
- Track and manage the sales pipeline across assigned events, ensuring targets are met.
- Prepare regular sales updates, revenue forecasts, and performance reports for senior management.
- Identify sales gaps and opportunities to recover accounts and grow new revenue.
Client & Partnership Development
- Develop and present strong, customized proposals for key clients and strategic partners.
- Build and manage relationships with industry associations, government agencies, embassies, and partners.
- Act as the main point of contact for key accounts to ensure long-term partnerships and client retention.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Marketing, Production, and Logistics teams to align sales commitments with event delivery.
- Improve internal sales processes and documentation to support efficient client onboarding.
On-Ground Execution & Market Insight
- Support on-site event execution to ensure all commercial and partnership deliverables are fulfilled.
- Conduct market and competitor research to stay ahead of industry trends.

Mentor junior sales team members to help achieve team targets.
Qualifications
At least
5 years of experience
in business development, trade exhibitions and promotions, or B2B events - Graduate of
Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related fieldStrong background in proposal development and cross-team coordination
Good understanding of trade exhibition operations and workflows
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and confident working with senior stakeholders
Strong written and verbal communication skills
