We employ nearly 200 staff across our facilities in Manila and Laguna. Job Role: Project Development Engineer – Makati City, Philippines You will be responsible for delivering software products on time and with quality standards.

A typical week includes: Developing Gemalto smart card SIM products (GSM, 3G, CDMA, LTE, 5G) Implementing and validating smart card OS, applications (Java Card and native), and electrical profiles within a project team, following institutionalized processes and standards Collaborating with Technical Consultants to define data interfaces and customer profiles, including electrical, data processing, graphical, and packaging requirements Providing technical support during validation phases within BAP projects Managing and organizing BAP projects from specifications to homologation, coordinating milestones with relevant teams and factories Delivering test cards as per schedule and quality expectations Supporting Thales Personalization Bureau with script deployment and testing activities Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: Essential: proficiency in C, C , and/or Visual Basic programming languages Preferred: knowledge of Java and experience in project or program management Fluent in English or confident in expressing yourself in English We seek responsible, initiative-driven, analytical team players with good communication skills, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure A Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology More than 1 year of experience as a Software Engineer, preferably in embedded systems; fresh graduates with relevant academic projects are welcome Willing to travel occasionally outside the Philippines At Thales, we offer careers, not just jobs.
