Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or a related field.
  • Valid Pharmacist License from the appropriate regulatory board.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs, their uses, side effects, and interactions.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills to educate and advise patients.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications and reviewing prescriptions.
  • Proficiency in pharmacy management systems and inventory control.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining precision.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing pharmaceutical practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately following legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Review and verify prescriptions for dosage, interactions, and appropriateness.
  • Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and storage.
  • Monitor and manage inventory, ensuring proper stock levels and medication safety.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal treatment plans for patients.
  • Maintain up-to-date patient records and comply with legal documentation requirements.
  • Stay updated on new medications, treatments, and industry advancements.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the pharmacy setting.
