What you'll be doing

  • Conducting regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential health and safety risks

  • Implementing and monitoring safety protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards

  • Providing training and guidance to employees on proper safety practices and the use of protective equipment

  • Investigating and documenting any incidents or accidents that occur, and recommending corrective actions

  • Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to develop and enhance safety plans

  • Maintaining detailed records and preparing comprehensive safety reports

What we're looking for

  • College graduate of any 4 year course

  • Must have COSH/BOSH certificate

  • With driver's license for Manual and Automatic vehicles

  • Sufficient computer knowledge

  • Relevant qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Safety Officer or in a similar role within the construction industry

  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, including local and national legislation

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with employees at all levels

  • Proficient in report writing and data analysis

  • Proactive, detail-oriented and committed to promoting a culture of safety
